ROLE
The PowerPoint Designer will play an important role in the Creative department, providing support to senior members on all PowerPoint design projects. A good eye for detail is a must, along with some experience in a similar role. In addition to presentation design, they may also be called upon to do other design related tasks. As such, they will have a good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting in the creation and amendment of PowerPoint slides and decks
- Redrawing of medical graphs from PDF papers
- Formatting of decks
- Creating and amending presentation and graphic material
- Set up master files from the start and/or modify client masters if needed
- Understand our client’s brands, their guidelines and channels of distribution
- Be able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Be good at multi-tasking
- Always have an eye on the detail, ensuring work is 100% correct before it goes out the door
- Ensure work is signed off by a senior creative before it goes to the account team or client
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in art, design or other relevant area is essential
- 3-4 years’ experience within the marketing and communications industry or agency environment
- Excellent working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and presentation design
- You must be Mac literate and experienced in Adobe CSS (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator)
- A Strong sense of design layout/composition and typography
- A working knowledge of interactive PDFs and Adobe Acrobat
- A working knowledge of being able to use/create templates within Word
- The ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
- Be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and demanding timelines
- Have the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical services or healthcare a plus
- Knowledge of animation/video editing is beneficial
