Our team plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge projects in multiple international locations.
About Us
At Cundall, our Power Systems team provides design services and power systems analysis across various sectors, including distribution and transmission networks, grid substation design, and renewable energy projects such as grid-connected PV and battery energy storage systems. We also support our market-leading Critical Systems team, focusing on hyper-scale data centers, and our Building Services teams on other significant construction projects throughout the business. As a source of world-leading expertise, we offer a proactive and collaborative approach to skill development and professional excellence.
The Role:- Produce engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using appropriate technical software.
- Utilise power systems software to model complex networks and run advanced power system studies.
- Prepare technical reports in accordance with clients' briefs.
- Undertake the production of calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Attend and participate in client and project meetings.
- Undertake site visits to monitor the progress of works and address any issues.
- Correspond with external parties regarding information and technical queries.
- Comply with project management, operational, environmental, and health and safety procedures.
- Degree in Power Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in an Electrical Engineering role within the power systems field.
- Familiarity with power systems analysis software such as DIgSILENT Power Factory, ETAP, or SKM-PTW is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges with initiative.
- Passion for power systems design, learning, and development.
