What you’ll do:
Our Apprenticeship Programmes are a great way to earn and learn! We offer you the ideal mix of developing hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment alongside gaining a formal engineering qualification.
You’ll follow a three-year apprentice programme linked to a course of study at City College Plymouth which will, at a minimum, lead to the attainment of an NVQ level 3 qualification.
Working alongside our Power teams, you’ll be involved in the planning, installation and maintenance of power generation equipment. This will include generators and battery packs.
Where will I work?
You will work out of our Plymouth depot and study at City College Plymouth.
What grades will I need?
This apprenticeship standard is at Level 3 (which is the same as 2 A-Level qualifications). If you haven’t achieved a Level 2 in English and math’s you will need to reach a functional skills test Level 2 by the end of your apprenticeship.
What will happen at the end of my apprenticeship?
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be an option to work in a depot or field-based role. This could be your local depot, one of our other national or international locations.
