Robust UK are the leading supplier of steel door solutions in the UK. We offer a wide range of products in both the Industrial and Commercial sectors.
We are looking for a powder coat operative to work on the night shift Monday to Thursday, 7.30pm - 6.00am. £10.25 + 33% night shift premium
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of Paint & Powder Coat Operative will achieve results in the following key areas, in conjunction with the Paint & Powder Coat Operatives, Supervisors and Stores Operatives in order to fulfil the overall job purpose. This is not an exhaustive list.
· To locate jobs for painting or powder coating from the production area in line with the production schedule.
· To liaise with the Stores Department in acquiring materials and parts.
· Transfer the job to the relevant preparation area.
· To prepare doors and components to the required standard ready for painting or powder coating.
· To paint or powder coat doors and components to the required standard.
· To adhere to company health and safety policy.
· To adhere to the production schedule and report any issues.
· To adhere to 5s and housekeeping rules.
· To ensure other operatives are observing health and safety rules and procedures.
· To assist in reducing and eliminating scrap.
· To adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
· To assist in company stock takes.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Previous practical experience in spray painting or powder coating
Skills

Good verbal and written communication
