We are seeking a Powder Coater to join our team. This is a demanding, physical job that requires the individual to be on their feet for long periods of time. We are looking for candidates with experience in powder coating multiple types of products and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Someone who has worked in the manufacturing industry before is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts for defects before applying coating.
- Stack parts to be powder coated in the correct order to avoid mixing.
- Check parts for dents and dings prior to powder coating to prevent any defects in the coating.
- Prevent foreign materials from contaminating the finished product.
- Communicate with other workers about the status of their batches and supply them with powder as needed.
- Clean the area after a load is finished to avoid contamination of later batches.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
