Job Summary
Please note - successful candidates under 20 will be paid £9 per hour, over 20's will be paid £10.42 per hour.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Egg Production division of one of the UK's most progressive poultry companies.
This is a challenging and rewarding role with the possibility of progression, for a hands-on, pro-active and committed individual.
This is a Farm Worker position to cover weekends, the successful candidate will be getting stuck in alongside the other staff already on the farms, so the right attitude is more important than previous experience.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual that would be dedicated to taking responsibility for a high standard of flock care, welfare and performance on the farms, there is a possibility of more hours.
Responsibilities will typically include:
- Collecting Eggs
- Ensuring bird welfare
- Recording of on farm data and checking the farms weekly update reports.
- Maintaining safe working practices & a high level of site and personal biosecurity standards.
- Effectively communicating with leadership team and all other staff.
- Facilitating the smooth running of the farms and supply of essential consumables.
Plus, other tasks commensurate with the role or any other relevant or delegated duties required by the Management.
Full training and a mentor will be available to all successful candidates, ideal for a summer job or possibility to stay on available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £9.00-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sleaford, NG34 9DJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
