C# Software Developer

Software Developer - C# /Leicester/ Hybrid

My client based just outside of Leicester are on the hunt for an experienced C# developer to join their team! Working as part of a focused development team you will be designing business sector leading, robust and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose!

This is a new role created due to expansion and the key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies that are appropriate to the development of the business systems.
• To design and build functionality with structure and promote reuse of the code base.
• To deliver code which is well tested and consistently error free.
• To design and build database schemas with integrity and scalability with data access layers that are optimised for performance and security.
• To ensure that all software development is country balanced and has therefore considered all European requirements and remains unbiased.

In terms of the skills that you need for the role here is a rough outline of the skills needed but attitude and desire to learn are just, if not more important!

• 3 years development experience in Web/Client API.
• C# /.NET CORE / Kendo UI/Telerik / JavaScript / ASP.NET / SQL Server / HTML/CSS/XML / TFS/GIT
• Functional/technical document writing
• Ability to liaise with users (internal and external) to deliver requirements.
• Constructively challenge ideas and confidently explain alternatives.
• Research/Investigate issue or solutions as an individual.
• Willing to seek and/or provide assistance within the team.

This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work in the office 2 /3 days a week and the rest from home. Based near Leicester this is an excellent role and my client is big on progression!

In return for your skills my client is looking to pay between £40000 - £50000 depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package!
