An entry level position with potential Development opportunities has arisen as a Farm Worker on a modern Free Range Egg Farm.
This is a challenging and rewarding long term role for a hands-on and committed individual, No experience is needed, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who has the right attitude, is willing to learn and has a genuine interest and empathy for animals.
A 3 Bedroomed House, with Modern heating System, Discounted electricity and Free Fire Wood, is available on site...the cost of which can be discussed with candidates selected for interview.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, dedicated to taking responsibility for a high standard of flock care, welfare and performance.
Responsibilities will typically include:
Working As part of a team and independently on...
- Performing Welfare checks on the birds and collection of eggs laid outside of nest boxes.
- Maintaining safe working practices and a clean and bio-secure working environment.
- Accurate record keeping
- Egg packing and grading
- Flexibility to cover last minute breakdowns or increases in work load
Plus, Other tasks commensurate with the role or any other relevant or delegated duties required.
You will get regular structured time off, the average working week would be 39 Hours with every other weekend off. Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm and an additional day off each fortnight following your weekend to work.
