Job description
Tea Rooms at the Pet Cemetery is looking for a Pot Washer/Kitchen Assistant.
To help our hard working chefs in our very busy kitchen. This position will perform routine kitchen duties such as washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, and maintaining product inventory.
Duties include:
Prepare food in a professional manner to meet Tea Rooms at the Pet Cemetery standards according to the service schedule and menu plan.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene protocol.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and stock inventory appropriately.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager or culinary lead.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene protocol at all times.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the manager or culinary lead.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including keeping the prep area clean, sanitized, orderly, and sanitary at all times.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols established by Tea Rooms at the Pet Cemetery and state regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Competencies:
Strong communication skills with ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to follow directions and work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.

Part-time hours: 12-25 per week
Salary: £5.50-£10.50 per hour
