Part Time, Fixed Term - Research
The Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual as a Post Graduate Research Assistant to work with a project team at Oxford Brookes/Health Education England funded research project exploring the efficacy of a range of interventions to promote student nurse retention. With the team you will help to devise and evaluate the interventions.
This post is part time (22.5 hours per week) for a period of twelve months (June REPLACEMENT_STRINGMay 2024)
Applications are invited from individuals who have experience of mixed methods research, including qualitative interviews.
Applicants must have some experience of research projects and possibly engaged in post graduate study.
You will be contributing to the implementation and day-to-day running of a research project. You will be the Research Assistant in a team of four and will have organisational responsibility but no direct line management responsibility.
The ability to manage your own workload and to work as part of a team are essential.
The ideal applicant would have:
- Degree in relevant subject area (Health and Social Care/Psychology/Education)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience of working within a research setting
