We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Administrator to join our forward thinking, friendly and expanding Postgraduate Medical Education team based at St. Charles Hosptial.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of people but in particular with the team you support. You will be able to work accurately under pressure and be flexible in your approach.

This post forms part of the CNWL Medical Education Team based at St. Charles Hospital. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive administrative function to the Medical Education team and to work professionally and diplomatically with colleagues, management and junior doctors.
The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Education Manager on allocations of all core junior doctors in CNWL and West London Trust to training posts.
The postholder will also assist in the organisation of four inductions a year for junior doctors in Psychiatry in North West and North Central London, working closely with Trust induction Lead.
The postholder will maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures around medical education and update junior doctors’ work schedules accordingly.
The postholder will assist in the efficient delivery of a range of delegated learning programmes for training grades, providing support to learners, presenters and professional heads across the Trust. This will be delivered through application of technical skills and understanding of Medical Education policies and processes, coupled with Royal College course requirements.
The postholder will be responsible for setting new trainees up on the Trust’s Learning & Development Zone system, collating data and uploading onto Excel and other internal systems for each trainee, and following up with trainees post-induction.

Postgraduate Psychiatry Induction and Admin
To assist in organising the postgraduate induction programme for the four rotations in August, December, February and April each year; including mandatory training compliance monitoring in liaison with Induction Lead and education team.
North West London Core Psychiatry Training Scheme Work (Placements and posts in both CNWL and West London NHS Trust)
To ensure accurate and updated job descriptions are circulated to trainees for post preference selection process
Finance (Study Leave)
Maintain the study leave funding reimbursement (Excel) database for junior doctors, providing accurate monthly financial reports to finance department
MRCPsych Course
Assist the regional training programme director with administration and running of the MRCPsych course (Tuesdays and Thursday – every 2 weeks).
To monitor course attendance mark course attendance on QPort to enable easy access to all learners.
SASG Development programme
Assist SASG tutor with administration and running of the SASG development programme (Thursdays – every 2 weeks).
To monitor course attendance and produce reports on this for SASG Tutor.
