Job description

This post is available within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health’s Doctoral Academy. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support postgraduate research admissions activities and processes. The postholder will ensure enquiries and applications are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner in conjunction with relevant PGR tutors and academic staff.

The successful candidate will have a customer-focused attitude and be able to demonstrate a number of competencies including excellent attention to detail, well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise their workload when under pressure. We expect the successful candidate to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively and to operate professionally with postgraduate researchers and applicants from a range of backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, as they will be required to ensure compliance during the admissions process, understand a wide range of funding opportunities as well as provide data on applications, offers and acceptances.
