Summary of position
The role covers 24 months of an immersive experience within the Company with the opportunity to work alongside experienced scientists, comp chem developers, software and web developers. It provides a comprehensive, tailored rotational program across both scientific and commercial disciplines to broaden exposure and skillset.
Cresset will support professional and personal growth by providing continual learning and development opportunities, such as introduction to drug discovery, project management, effective presentation skills, influencing and communication and coding.

Key Responsibilities
- To build partnerships with all employees
- To support a variety of business operations: product management, application science, sales, marketing, software development, contract research and core science
- Work with rotation mentors to set mutually agreed objectives, responsibilities and timelines
- Apply in-depth understanding of our software solutions to contribute to future development
- Challenge the way we do things by proposing new or alternative solutions
- Become a valued permanent member of the team, most likely in a scientific customer-facing role
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship or Visa
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline e.g., computational chemistry, computational materials chemistry, physics or other computational fields
- Experience or strong curiosity for scripting or programming e.g. Python
- Proven presentation skills
- Flexible and proactive with an aptitude for learning new scientific disciplines
