Job Purpose


We are seeking an experienced Post-Room Ambassador to work as part of a team based within a newly built, prestigious development in Soho, London.


Your key duties will include receiving, x-raying and logging all deliveries accurately onto the post room system and ensuring smooth day-to-day running.


This is a full-time role working 0800-1800 Monday to Friday.


We offer a competitive rate of pay and you will be entitled to 28 days of holiday per annum including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities


  • A good working knowledge of post-room procedures to ensure you can help tenants with any queries
  • Ensure all outgoing couriers are logged correctly and signed for by the courier in collection
  • Ensure all incoming Royal mail is logged on the MyTag system
  • Ensure all outgoing Royal mail is handed to Royal Mail
  • Ensure all incoming couriers/deliveries are logged on the MyTag system and a signature is obtained upon collection
  • Proficient use of relevant communications equipment will require the candidate to have good communication skills
  • Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out
  • Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with management instructions
  • Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to
  • In addition to these functions’ Ambassadors are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required
  • Assist other staff and visitors at all times when required
  • Ensure that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
  • Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur

  • Have demonstrable and experienced knowledge of the post-room functions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work
  • Confidence and common sense to access and utilize expert resources when making decisions
  • Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Computer literate with good email etiquette.
  • Have an acute sense of security awareness
  • 5 years of continuous work employment history without gaps and verifiable work history
