We are excited to be recruiting a PBS Practitioner to join Cygnet Social care in West Yorkshire.

We need a PBS Practitioner who’s passionate about helping people with a range of complex needs.
This is an exciting new opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of the people we support whilst working within the beautiful locations of West Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will be working across a variety of services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge, so experience working within similar environments / homes as well as experience with Positive Behaviour Support and/or experience of leading on strategies to support complex behaviours is essential for this role.
As part of this role you will be supported by a PBS Lead to deliver the highest quality and standards of Positive Behaviour Support and work closely with the service and regional managers.
**Please note this is a remote based role with travel across the Yorkshire region**

Your Day-to-Day…
- To promote and maintain the positive well-being of the people who live in services provided by Cygnet Social Care by assisting in the provision of Positive Behaviour Support for individuals supported by the organisation.
- To uphold high standards of Positive Behaviour Support in line with policy and practice.
- As guided by the Senior Practitioner to undertake assessment, formulation work alongside individuals in the context of their history and relationship
We are looking for someone who is...
- Recognised qualification in PBS or Behavioural Analysis
- Practical experience of working with adults with Learning disabilities in a range of settings
- A minimum of three years’ experience of working with young people and adults with learning disabilities
- Practical experience of working in conjunction with other stakeholders within an MDT framework
- Experience of functional analysis and support plan implementation would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to travel independently across the region
