Job Summary
Our client is a leading real estate private equity firm who are looking to hire an Asset & Portfolio Manager in London.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recommending and implementing strategy on all aspects of the Fund investment portfolio.
- This includes maximizing value, minimizing risk, overseeing leasing, debt, capex, and other property level activities
- Managing sponsor relationships, monitoring Fund liquidity, and addressing other issues that arise at both the asset and Fund levels.
- Oversee preparation of quarterly investment return projections and valuation models, which include preparing variance analyses and market research
- Develop hold / sell matrices and other strategic analyses based on new information, dynamic market conditions, or activity at the property.
- Analyze property operating and capital budgets and provide analysis of property performance relative to business plan targets.
- Negotiate and oversee contracts, monitor management and leasing strategies, and analyze competitive markets.
- Oversee all aspects of property dispositions, including coordinating with brokers, analyzing offers, and overseeing the closing process.
- Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual Fund level investor presentations
- Create/update portfolio presentations for investor meetings and field detailed fund level investment investor inquiries and requests.
- Participate/present in investor meetings and market commentary updates
- Coordinate and gather economic and ESG data from firmwide and resources to incorporate into various Portfolio updates
- International and domestic travel required.
Background
- Proven real estate buy-side experience from leading PERE or real estate investor/asset manager
- Circa 6-8 years’ relevant asset and portfolio management experience
- Experience across the UK and Pan European real estate market including a wide range of real estate sectors – Residential, Office, Industrial, Life Science and Data Centres
- Experience managing operating parties/3rd parties.
- Expert in Excel and Argus.
- Strong reporting
- Advanced MS office including strong at formulating presentations.
- Fluent English – 2nd European Language a benefit
