Whilst Citra is still in its early phase of growth, the business has growth plans which offer an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager passionate about real estate.
Citra Living is a new business that sits in the LBG Investments division of Lloyds Banking Group. The company was formed in 2021 and post initial mobilisation, is now in its scaling up phase. Citra Living’s core business is offering homes for private rental. In addition, Citra is developing and piloting initiatives to help renters bridge to home ownership as well as championing ESG innovations.
As Portfolio Manager you’ll report into the Portfolio Director working within the investment team. You’ll typically be involved in monitoring all aspects of portfolio performance and seek opportunities to optimise with regular recommendations for implementation by the Property Team. You'll be working very closely with the various Property Teams to set and communicate the asset strategies and ensure they are performing as optimally as possible.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide asset strategy briefs to the Property Team in line with the investment rationale and acquisition underwrite including rental analysis, operational & capital budgets & let up profiles.
- Build analysis to monitor the financial performance of the Portfolio and work with the Portfolio Director to provide recommendations to optimise individual assets
- Oversee and implement tasks & projects to enhance the sustainability of the portfolio and achieve agreed sustainability objectives both environmental, social and customer focussed.
- Identify and implement beneficial opportunities across the portfolio to maximise performance
- As the portfolio grows, identify investment trends to inform sell/hold and refurbishment decision making
- Assist in all internal monthly Bank reporting

What you’ll need:
- Strong academic background with a high numerical competence
- Significant experience in residential real estate with a strong understanding of residential institutional investment and property operations
- Ideally you'll have an asset management or operational background with solid investment knowledge and an energetic approach
- Proactive self-starter with ability to self-organise, plan, and prioritise activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across the business as well as an excellent team player
- Good range of advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint as desirable.
