Part Time Veterinary Receptionist Helston, England
Job description
We are looking for a lovely Receptionist who will provide a friendly and exceptional service to our clients and their animals. We are located in Helston on the Water-ma-Trout Industrial estate. Our practice was founded over 150 years ago by the first qualifying vet in Cornwall!! We are a mixed practice dealing with all your small animals, farm and equine.
This is a part time position, working 13.5 hours per week with a rotating rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays.
As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same!
We have a lovely team of 9 receptionists who are truly fabulous at their roles. The role will involve receptionist duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, dispensing medications, advising clients on our pet health plan, taking payments, regular training updates and providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving to the clinic.
You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy towards everything that is thrown at you, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.
Shifts
Monday 1pm-6pm
Wednesday 8.30am-6pm
Saturday once a month 8.30am-12.30am
