Finance Administrator
Manchester
£23,000 - £25,000 plus Benefits
Are you a Finance Assistant or Administrator with experience of working within the insurance sector or a similarly regulated environment?
If so, a great new opportunity has become available to work with our client, a well-established independent insurance brokerage based in Manchester City Centre.
As Finance Administrator, you will be working as part of a busy team, delivering an excellent client service to the broking business. You will work very closely with others in the team, providing first-class support and guidance ensuring customers are always prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing credit control to a high degree of sensitivity.
- Dealing with the reconciliation and payment of insurance company accounts.
- Reconciling back statements and processing cash receipts and payments.
- Initiating, maintaining and renewing client loan applications.
- Providing expert support to Senior and Middle Management.
- Balancing all month end reports and reconciling discrepancies when required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- A good level of experience in a finance or transactional role is essential.
- Experience working in an insurance environment is preferred and will be prioritised, although experience in a similarly regulated environment will also be considered.
- Insurance and Client Money accounting knowledge relating to finance operations also highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, able to pass on information clearly and deal with a range of different stakeholders.
- Be extremely organised and able to manage time and workloads effectively.
