Job Title: Finance Administrator
Salary: Up to £25,500
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday
Location: Nuneaton

My client is a successful manufacturing company based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. They work with prestigious, well known brands across the UK and are growing year on year.

They are now are recruiting for an experienced Finance Administrator to join their friendly and supportive management team where the office environment is relaxed but professional. This is an important role within the business reporting to the Finance Manager and the successful candidate will be supported with in house training to get up to speed with working practices and systems.

The Finance Administrator in Nuneaton will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Assisting with the daily running of the accounts office
  • Purchase and sales ledger processing
  • Supplier payments
  • Uploading and raising invoices to the Clarity software system
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Keeping personnel records up to date inc. holidays and sickness
  • General office duties including franking, filing and answering telephone enquiries
  • Miscellaneous administration duties to ensure smooth operation of the office

Finance Administrator in Nuneaton skills and experience needed:

  • Minimum of 2 years accounts administration experience
  • Sage software experience
  • Able to work using own initiative
  • Flexible approach to work in order to meet deadlines
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • The ability to translate management account reports ad add commentary to the management team
  • A competent user of Microsoft Office software
  • Organised, reliable and efficient
  • Basic knowledge of VAT
  • AAT level 2 or higher qualification is preferred
