Job description

Transport of patients to wards and departments including emergency bed and stretcher patients. Take specimens to laboratories. Collect soiled linen and rubbish from wards and departments. Collect clinical waste from wards and departments.

Deliver meal trolleys to and from wards. Delivery of equipment to wards and departments. Attending fire response at the request of line manager. Delivery of drugs from wards and departments including controlled drugs.

Post-room duties Any other designated duties as and when required by the porter services management.
