Our fabulous Domestic team across Greater Manchester are expanding and we are looking to recruit two part time Porter roles at the Edenfield Centre, Prestwich Hospital. Working early and late shifts ranging from 7am until 7pm, 4 days per week, Bank holidays and weekends on a rota basis. 24hrs per week. Our team is dedicated to improving the environments for all our patients, visitors, and staff. Porters play a crucial part in keeping the hospital working by moving goods and equipment between departments to where they are needed. Hospital Porters are also involved in emergency response arrangements including the response to fire alarm activations and support to security where required with the opening of secure gates. As a Porter in Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a part in the provision of excellent care to our patients.

Experience not essential as full training will be giving.
The postholder will carry out a range of portering duties and will maintain a safe and secure environment at all times, in relation to these duties. In addition to general portering duties the postholder will undertake routine security checks and some maintenance of the environment.
