Porsche Warranty Administrator/Service Quality Specialist

Due to further expansion, Parker & Parker Ltd currently have an opening for a highly motivated Warranty Administrator/Service Quality Specialist to join our prestigious centre at Porsche Centre South Lakes.
As a Porsche Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for the costing and invoicing of all warranty jobs. On a daily basis you will ensure the accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims, and ensure that recalls and our warranty debt is controlled in a timely manner. You will also ensure that Porsche standards are adhered to at all times.
As a Porsche Service Quality Specialist you will process key information in our service systems to help our Technicians prepare for their diagnostic repairs. Using knowledge and training you’ll communicate directly with Technicians to make useful recommendations throughout the repair process. Through close collaboration and an unmatched attention to detail, you’ll assist in the test driving of vehicles and photograph any evidence of fault. When a repair is finished, you’ll also review all completed forms thoroughly and have the Technician sign off on them. Your role will be central to our success, by ensuring high standards are met every step of the way throughout the repair process.
Working closely with our workshop manager, you will support them in the distribution of work to the right skilled Technician, follow up on job progression right the way through quality control and completion. There will be a requirement to cover workshop control during holidays and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warranty Evidence gathering, administration and the submission of claims
- Provide warranty support for all internal staff
- Providing technical support & guidance to technicians
- Support & develop workshop process in line with Porsche Service Process
- Provide technical assistance to Service Advisors
- Manage manufacturer technical support & communication
- Manage workshop repairs, quality control & first fix
- Assigning special tools to repair
- Support Parts pre pick process and 72 hour job preparation
- Engage fully with the team, ensuring good morale is maintained
- Adhere to health & Safety and company policies at all times
- Provide cover to Workshop Manager during holidays & training
- Technical Preparation and Set Up in-line with brand and group standards
- Provide control of quality and of repairs
- Oversee technical repair progression of work through the workshop and ensure agreed customer timescales are adhered to
- Work with the Service, Parts and Workshop Managers to ensure all departments are kept updated of progress at all times
- Live Technical Guidance for Technicians and customers if necessary.
The role requires you to work a 42.5-hour week, 8.30am to 17.30 Monday to Friday. Saturdays will not be part of your normal working week, however these may be introduced on a rota basis at some point in the future.
About you
Previous experience in an administrative capacity is essential along with motor industry knowledge. Experience with Pinnacle/Pinewood DMS system would be advantageous; however, this is not crucial for the right candidate.
Ideally, you will have excellent organisational skills and be able to handle conflicting demands whilst able to identify priorities in a highly demanding environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong, cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues are also a must.
Whilst prestige automotive experience is preferred, a strong technical background is essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in a busy Aftersales environment
- Knowledge of Warranty procedures and Workshop systems
- Technical Motor Vehicle knowledge
- Motor Manufacture experience
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
