About the role
Do you have a passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the community? Haringey Alcohol Service is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Polish Speaking Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Polish and Eastern European cohort of service users in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct care planning, risk assessments, and case management for service users allocated to you.
  • Assess the needs of service users and deliver psychosocial interventions, group work, and liaise with other partnership organisations to provide wraparound support.
  • Support clients to achieve their goals in alcohol treatment, including controlled use, abstinence, and access to residential treatment.
  • Confidently use case management systems to accurately record client data.
  • Utilize active listening skills on a day-to-day basis while working in a client-facing role.
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Previous voluntary or paid experience of working in a client-facing role
  • Ability to use active listening skills to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively problem solve

Kwalifikacje:
  • Biegłe posługiwanie się językiem polskim i angielskim
