We are looking for a recent Graduate or Junior Analog Design Engineer, with the talent, ambition and passion, to innovate the way we design our next generation of power management silicon, to provide industry leading power efficiency, achieve customer expectations of device performance, battery efficiency, and welcome you to work among the industry’s best. You will be part of a highly experienced international analog design team, delivering PMU silicon directly into next generation Apple products, working alongside chip architecture, layout, digital design and mixed-signal verification teams, across multiple continents and time zones.

Key Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of transistor level design and semiconductor technology
  • Solid basis of analog design circuits
  • Good understanding of linear/switching design and control theory
  • Understanding of basic digital concepts
  • Experience with analog and power design simulators
  • Ability to debug basic issues and propose solutions
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pro-active, positive and resilient attitude versus challenges
  • Ability to work well on a team, take responsibility, and self-motivate
  • Experience with design and validation of switching converters (Buck/Boost) and linear regulators (LDO) is a plus
  • Familiarity with mixed-signal design/verification is a plus
  • Fluency in English is required

Description

In this role you will participate in designing and verifying key analog blocks for PMICs including best in class DC-DC converters and LDOs. You will follow your design from the concept, feasibility, implementation, verification and testing. You will work with multi-functional teams across Apple to support product development (Custom Layout, Digital Design and Silicon Validation) and mass production (Test, Quality and Productization).

Education & Experience

Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
