In this key role, you will have autonomy to make a real impact and shape the future of our organisation.

The successful candidate will hold a key role supporting the programme leadership and as such will need to be comfortable working autonomously. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of reports of varying complexity to a number of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels and the end customer, ensuring adherence to Programme Office and governance standards and project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support P&C Team leads & Project Managers in the development of project plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance to best practice.
  • Support & monitor programme deliverables, risks, dependencies and milestones
  • Gather and store programme evidence to provide quality management and assurance
  • Manage and organise the Programme Goverance Meetings. Including scheduling, invites and attendance, developing agendas and distribution of material, including sharing and chasing actions and minutes.
  • Build and maintain effective partnership relationships within the Project / Programme, P&C Leadership and delivery managers to support effective delivery
  • Work with relevant project/programme management to ensure creation of timely and accurate governance and reporting packs for submission into the governance committees

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience of working as PMO in large transformation programmes for large companies
  • Preferably with experience in HR/P&C transformation programmes
  • Expert MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Intermediate MS Project and Visio skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Solutions orientated and able to simplify complex matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable influencing and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
  • Strong report writing skills, high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage and take ownership of PMO processes
