About us
Southern Piped Services Ltd offer a comprehensive range of Industrial and commercial heating and plumbing services.
We are looking for a Plumbers Mate to join our growing team. As a Plumbers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting our qualified plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in Industrial and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Carry tools and materials to job sites
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and tools
- Cut, measure, and assemble pipes and fittings
- Remove and replace old plumbing fixtures
- Keep work areas clean and tidy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plumbers Mate is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
- Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of the plumbing trade
