Location: Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh)

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience

DMA Canyon Ltd has an exciting new opportunity available for a Plumber Mate to join their team in Scotland. Working on a full time, permanent basis the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Salary £20,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.

Formed in 1999 the directors of the company have more than 50 years of combined experience within the industry. DMA has grown and expanded since its inception and provides consultancy and service to companies across the UK.

The Plumber Mate Role

After experiencing a successful period of sustainable growth, DMA Canyon seeks to add experienced and trainee plumber mates to predominantly service and maintain Thermostatic Mixer valves (TMV/TMT/TMS) on behalf of our current client portfolio which includes Local Authorities, NHS Health Boards and Hotel Groups.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity of a long-term secure position that will provide the option for personal growth and career progression for the right individuals within a successful, professional, friendly company where staff are valued.

Skills and experience you will need as our Plumber Mate include:

  • Gained some experience within the plumbing or water hygiene industry (Preferred but not essential)
  • Have a current clean UK driving licence (minor points may be acceptable)
  • Current CSCS card preferable but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Take pride in the quality of their workmanship.
  • Be reliable with excellent timekeeping.

Licence / Certification

  • 1 years experience or more within the plumbing or water hygiene industry is desirable but not essential
  • Driving Licence (Required)
  • Water Hygiene / ACOP L8/ SHTM-04-01/ TMV servicing training desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • All candidates with be subject to enhanced PVG checks prior to commencing works.
