Job description
Terra Therma are looking for experienced Plumbers and Pipe Fitters in Essex to join our team.
We have guaranteed contracts for both New build and Retro fit properties throughout Essex and home counties.
You will be required to communicate with either the property owner or a member of the construction team so presentation and people skills are a must.
We only use the very best equipment and materials to enable you to work in a neat and efficient manner - customer satisfaction is our No1 goal.
Your safety is paramount to us so you must work safely at all times - we issue all H&S documentation needed. Your work must be completed safely, efficiently and to the customer’s satisfaction within the requirements/regulations.
Your job role will be:
- Installing primary feed pipe work (Usually pre-insulated MLCP) to UFH and radiator circuits
- Installation of soil vent and internal waste pipes.
- Installing unvented domestic hot water cylinders (in accordance with G3)
- Installation of low temp radiator systems (often manifolded / point to point)
- System testing & commissioning
- First and Second fixing high end new build houses.
As a minimum you must have:
- A good work ethic and positive "can do" attitude
- Great communication skills
- The ability to work independently if needed
- Confidence to make professional decisions on site of your own accord
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or Pipe fitting Experience - minimum of 3yrs
- An up to date knowledge of current building & plumbing regulations
- Your own hand tools (plumbing specific and light power tools) - we provide the specialist power tools (crimp guns etc)
- A full UK driving licence
