Plumber - Multi Skilled
£30,500.00 per annum
We have an excellent career opportunity for a Multi Skilled - Plumber to join our team in Buxton on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Multi Skilled Plumber you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of repairs and refurbishment plumbing works across the High Peaks. You will be predominantly working on the Councils housing stock but may include non-housing, commercial and other properties as required.
Within this role you must be able to work on your own proficiently and carry out plumbing works without immediate supervision. You will also be able to work from drawings and specifications, requisition the necessary materials and accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs.
You will also be required to undertake other trades duties including basis joinery, plastering & tiling where required.
Our Successful Candidate:
- City & Guild or NVQ level 3 in Plumbing
- Proven experience of maintaining plumbing systems across a range of properties
- Extensive experience in 1st and 2nd FIX domestic plumbing installations
- Previous experience working within social housing properties – Void and planned works
- Demonstrable skills and experience in a variety of trades
- Familiar with COSHH regulation and relevant construction health and safety legislation, and risks and hazards associated with Asbestos.
- Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role
