Job description
Leicestershire County Care Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to work within our 12 care homes within Leicestershire.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Check plumbing is satisfactory i.e. sanitary ware, leaks, mixer valves, temperature control, replacing taps etc.
- Mend, repair and ensure correct function.
- Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, and water system appliances.
- Install and maintain building water systems.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.
- Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken drainage lines.
- Service TMV valves.
- Conduct yearly gas safety certificates and yearly servicing.
- Yearly gas tightness test and risk assessment.
- Maintain and repair commercial gas heating systems, including pipes, valves, metres and gauges.
- Carry out any other maintenance issues within the home within your capability if required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant trade qualification for plumbing with 5 years of experience.
- Gas safety registered.
- Excellent understanding of plumbing techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Proficient in plumbing and manual equipment and measurement tools.
- Full clean driving license. You will be required to cover the whole Leicestershire. A vehicle will be provided.

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. However, on-call duties may sometimes be required.
Salary may be negotiable depending on experience.
