Kane Group are an established, and successful multi-disciplinary building-services solution contractor, head office based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. We're an innovative, forward-thinking company with continued steady growth serving residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors with offices in Northern Ireland, London, Glasgow and the Republic of Ireland. We are actively seeking an Aftercare Plumber. They will be responsible for resolving post completion faults and ensuring that maintenance and repair is carried out in a timely fashion whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve calls and issues raised in regards plumbing matters after project completion
Fault finding and carrying out repair work as required
Ensuring that all issues are resolved to a high standard and to the satisfaction of the customer/client
Communicate clearly and effectively with the client/customer on all matters relating to their issue and show excellent customer service at all times
Carry out snag reports
Complete all associated paperwork, documentation and reports
Any other duties as required
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications Essential Time served plumber with NVQ level 2 (level 3 desired)
Desirable NVQ level 3 in plumbing or an associated discipline
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
Experience in maintenance and repair work with particular experience in electrics, BMS, controls, HIU’s and MVHR’s.
Experience in waste pipe systems including HDPE.
Previous experience in a customer facing plumbing or service engineer role
Skills
Previous experience of fault finding and resolution of issues.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with clients & internal staff
Demonstrates a strong customer orientation
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise customer and clients
Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
To be flexible and work as part of a team.
Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
