We are looking for a full-time Audit & Accounts Trainee to join our fast-growing team of tax, accounting and business specialists.
Based on the Thorpe Park business estate on the outskirts of Leeds, we have a history that stretches back more than a century, but an approach that is rooted in the here and now.
The role will suit A-level school leavers and university graduates looking to start their career in accountancy and become a chartered or certified chartered accountant.
The role will consist of working within the busy audit and accounts department, carrying out the following tasks:
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Conducting annual audits
- Preparing corporation tax returns and computations
- Preparing monthly/quarterly VAT returns and management accounts
- And much more.
Previous knowledge of accountancy software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks is ideal but not essential, training on all of the software we employ will be given on the job.
