Due to our current order-book and the large number of repeat contracts, GRAHAM is recruiting for immediate start, a Multi Skilled Plumber(s) to work as part of our long established commercial Reactive Maintenance team in University of Manchester residential properties.
Reporting directly to the Regional Contracts Manager, you will join an already well-established delivery team of Multi-Skilled Operatives. As part of your role, you will be responsible for undertaking and delivering of day-to-day reactive jobs, to a high standard working independently but also as part of an already high performing mobile team.

These current roles are as a result of continued success in the region and is suited to established craft/tradesmen working in a reactive maintenance role, but also would also suit someone who has the drive to work in a minor works projects tea. The role is ideal for any ambitious individual who has a desire to maximise their potential with in their chosen trade.
Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday 39 Hours
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
- Work alongside existing/other members of the team
- Undertake a range Plumbing and Multi Skilled Tasks.
- Ensure all works are completed efficiently to a high standard.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
- Update Site/Project Management/Helpdesk on Progress of works and request time extensions as required.
- Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works, either working on your own or as part of a team.
- Provide detailed write-ups/PDA reports of works carried out to ensure that both the GFM & clients CAFM system is kept up to date at all times.
- Deal with a variety of Clients/Customers on a daily basis
- Keep accurate Time reports on all tasks completed.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrate relevant experience preferably within the maintenance or construction industry.
- Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of plumbing and or multiple building type works.
- Full Driver’s License
- Ability to get a DBS certificate.
- Ability to get Police Vetting.
Desirable Criteria
- CSCS card or other recognised Safety training
- Recognised Health & Safety training
- Licensed MEWP operator
- Manual Handling training
- Confined space training
