Job description
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes and fittings
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure efficient project completion
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes
Skills:
- Proficient in pipe threading, soldering and Pressing procedures
- Knowledge of plumbing tools and equipment
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating pipe lengths
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
Note: Experience in Plumbing is a plus.
