Job Title: Play Worker
Responsible to: YPlay Manager
Location: Willow Trees Community Centre
Our holiday club is now looking for a Play Workers for the Holidays 2023 with the prospect of more hours in the following holidays.

We now recruiting for our holiday club based at Willow trees Community centre in Redditch, you will have responsibility for a group of children within the holiday club.
The perfect candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic, honest, and most importantly enjoy working with children. Working with a team of play workers supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times. From 3-11 years old in group play settings.
We deliver high quality safe fun activities and games. Ensure activities are delivered according to the programme set out, Encouraging all children to take part and have as much FUN as possible.
Enthusiasm and ability to engage in all manner of activities, including sports, craft activities, science projects and much more fun activities! Full training will be provided. You must be fun and outgoing!
Experience - Essential
- Experience of working with children from 3 years -12 years of age.
- Experience in delivering multi sports activities or within childcare
Qualifications – Desirable
- A paediatric First Aid qualification or we would be happy to obtain this paid by YMCA Worcestershire
- DBS Check would be essential for the job and can be obtained by YMCA Worcestershire, you will need to have the correct documentation available in order to process a DBS
- A passion for working with children
- Hours between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
