We are a recognised and well established busy after school club, based in South Gosforth Newcastle Upon Tyne.
We are looking for an enthusiastic committed playworker, to work term-time only, at our breakfast/after school club at South Gosforth First School.
Hours will be 3pm-6pm, Mon- Thurs, though there may be an option to increase this by working in our breakfast club (7:30-9am)
Applicants will need to have a minimum level 2 Childcare qualification, or already working towards this.
We strongly believe in the play work policies and believe children should have free play opportunities.
Some of your main duties will include:
- Welcoming children at the beginning of the session
- Ensuring the safety of our children at all times
- Assisting with snacks and refreshments
- Planning and leading a variety of enjoyable and age appropriate activities
- Building and maintaining good relationships with parents and carers.
