These are fixed term positions of 12 months. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The shift pattern for this position is Mon- Sun various shifts between 8am and 8pm

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our dynamic and experienced play service at the Royal Hospital for Children as a Play Support Worker. We are currently searching for a qualified child care worker. The post will be a fixed term contract. The role will involve supporting children and young people during the hospital visit through providing recreational and normalizing play activities. The post holder will be responsible for managing the toys/play equipment and play area whilst working closely as part of an MDT. The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and the ability to support all children & young people inclusively. The role will involve you working independently with professional guidance from a Health Play Assistant. We are looking for a person with some post qualification experience of working with children in a child care setting. Some experience of working in a health care setting is preferred but not essential. In order for your application to be considered it is essential that you hold an NC Childhood Practice qualification or equivalent Childcare qualifications.
