Play Product Manager – Connected Experiences
Play Engineering, Creative Play Lab – London, UK OR Billund, Denmark
We are looking for a seasoned product leader whose passion is to help children be creative and learn through play. This product leader would be responsible for defining the roadmap for our next-generation, technology enabled play experiences as well as partnering with our technology domain teams to deliver world-class, high-quality products that create fun and memorable play moments for children and adults alike.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of new technology enabled play experiences for the LEGO Group
- Integrate play value, usability studies, research, and market analysis into technical product requirements to deliver playful products that drive high satisfaction
- Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic product platform roadmaps and implementation thereof
- Lead and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives, and maintain team health
- Ensure world-class quality and the strong LEGO® values that consumers expect from our brand

The Play Engineering organization is an important part of the LEGO Group and are dedicated to developing digital, physical, and electronic play components for use in LEGO® products. Our focus is on developing reusable and scalable components and platform using the newest technologies.
We work with an agile mindset and in collaboration with the Product Development organization, to deliver seamlessly integrated physical digital play experiences for the Builders of Tomorrow.
Do you have what it takes?
Required
- A playful attitude and a passion for creative, open-ended play and be able to translate this into great play experiences that are popular with our consumers
- Relevant years of experience leading product development teams, preferably with experience of connected games, understanding how we can utilise the latest technologies to deliver the future play for the LEGO Group
- Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
- Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a playful product solution
- This demanding role requires multidisciplinary abilities to stay on top of a dynamic, complex field in which interpersonal and communication skills are key enablers
Desired
- Experience identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
- Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
