The Platform Product Manager will be contributing to the High Performance Server Hardware product roadmap planning and product management from concept, product launch, and throughout the entire product life cycles. The position is in the team responsible for managing the current and future generation server hardware platforms of HPC, Cloud, and AI solutions.

This role requires being able to bring insights on trends of major server platforms, such as X86, and components technology trends, and collaborate with the account team and engineering team to identify the server features that support the future opportunities. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to effectively communicate with our ODM and technology partners to influence the key product decisions and to ensure the decisions are aligned with Penguin strategies and product direction.

Beside serving as the technical subject matter expert on hardware platform, the Platform Product Manager is also responsible for managing the entire product life cycle including, but not limited to, building server configurations, driving NPI products from concept to production, and managing the entire product launch process and documentation.

We are seeking a self-driven and strong cross functional team leadership person who is able to collaborate with the teams including sales, engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills, including High Performance Servers, GPU, CPU product knowledge, server architecture awareness, strong marketing and presentation skills, solid understanding of customers' business and decision makers, ability to craft resonating customer value propositions, and strong team leadership skills to drive progress on each account.
• Develop product roadmap and prioritize server platform product features.
• Work closely with the internal Solution Group (Hardware, Software, Cluster Integrated Solutions), field team, and key external partners to execute toward the platform roadmap and turn breakthrough technologies into products.
• Most importantly, you are the business leader for your accounts, contributing to strategy, setting direction, and achieving success in all facets
• Build and maintain platform configurable systems, including managing and validating component AVL per server platform.
• Work closely with the Solution Group and Marketing team to deliver products to market.
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet technical, financial, and strategic goals.
• Internal product training.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in product end of end delivery.
• Experience with effectively working with cross functional teams including partners, engineering, marketing, sourcing, supply chain, operations, finance, and legal.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in technical and business languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years hands on experiences of hardware product management, technical program management, or related work experiences.
• X86 system product management experience
