Job description
Clifton Green Primary are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Finance Officer, who strives for excellence and has the skills and flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment.
Hours: 21 hours/week, 3 days/week
(8.30am - 4pm, including 30min break)
Contract type: permanent, term time only + 2 weeks
Hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
(At peak times, there may be an opportunity for additional hours.)
The ideal candidate will have:
- experience of school finance.
- excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
- the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
The responsibilities include supporting the Business Manager with budget planning and monitoring. Maintaining in-house finance systems - collecting, banking, balancing and maintaining accounts for monies. Raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
A good working knowledge of using emails, spreadsheets and Word processing skills are desired. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy skills and be able to relate well to children and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
