This is an excellent opportunity for a plasterer to join our excellent maintenance team. It is a varied role ranging from working on day-to-day repairs through to major improvements to council housing.
You will be required to have a knowledge and ability to undertake a range of other associated trades.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a ‘can do’ approach to work and would enjoy the challenge of making our Housing Property Services even more successful.
- Have the ability to carry out a range of duties from general joinery repairs to major improvement works in households within the Chesterfield and surrounding area.
- Be qualified to NVQ or equivalent. Enjoy working both within a team or individually. Be hard working and show initiative. Have excellent people skills and to be able to demonstrate care and compassion.
- Previous experience of working in social housing would be beneficial, although not essential.
