Job description
HERMEQ is a group of companies that’s operations span manufacturing, distribution and installation of non-mechanical plant across the UK and Europe. As part of our expanding operations, we are looking to recruit a Plant operative ideally with experience in working in a powder coating plant for our brand new, state of the art powder coating facility based in West Bromwich
This is an exciting opportunity for anybody who wants to join a business that encourages progression.
The role will include -
- ·Chemical testing on pre treatment
- Thickness checks using an elcometer
- Carrying out gloss thickness measures
- Setting up equipment at the start of the shift
- Closing down equipment at the end of shift
- Maintenance of plant to include track cleaning
Skills required -
· Previous experience of working in a powder coating facility
· Good communication skills
· Excellent timekeeping
· Ability to work in fast paced environment
Hours: 7am until 4pm initially – the role will move to a rotating shift pattern within the next 12 months
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00 per hour
