Experience and Qualifications Required:
- HNC level education or greater in an engineering subject
- Experienced within an Engineering role of a similar level (3 years +)
- Excellent communication skills
- Management of multiple projects
- Demonstrable knowledge of current European Machine legislation & standards preferred but not mandatory
- Analytical & logical approach to problem solving
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Outline and Responsibilities:
- Facility Development from concept stage, through installation, commissioning and including production launch
- Review concept designs considering Safety & Legal compliance using current European Machine legislation & standards
- Plan Shop Floor Layout Modifications and Service Requirements to support Productivity Projects
- Specification Writing and Procurement of Parts and Services to support New Machine Builds and Shop Floor Modifications
- Project Management – planning & execution of facility projects to demanding deadlines by writing and monitoring schedules
- Budget Management – demonstrating cost analysis, cost reduction & regular budget control
- Provide technical advice and support to Maintenance and Production departments
- Coordinate Projects within Shop Floor Zone Teams
- Specify, manage and control sub-contractor works
- Documentation Updates
