Job Title: Planning and Logistics Manager
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Director
SUMMARY:
This is a key role within the wide spread of installation operations and will be responsible for and part of a small administration team which provide dedicated resource to be a central point for installation jobs planning, ensure process adherence, co-ordination of tasks and provide appropriate reporting to track installation performance in addition to providing valuable administration resource around installation planning and snagging to ensure that there is full traceability. Managerial role with direct line management of the Installation Co-ordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Installation jobs planning eg Installations, extractions, kit moves, snagging requests
· Booking installation jobs utilising both internal and external resource
· Booking appropriate transport jobs accurately planning vehicles.
· Run reports weekly or on-demand to provide specific installation and snagging figures.
· 3rd party snagging account management for all JHT Installations
· Analysis and reporting of KPI data as demanded showcasing installation performance.
· Line management supervision for Installation Co-ordinator
· Provide general health and safety housekeeping as directed.
· Provide project administration support in driving continuous improvement.
· Ad-hoc requests as necessary
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing a team of two administrators
Responsibility for process from product leaving warehouse to fulfillment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience of the use of SAP, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Excel is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Good knowledge of Excel essential
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential. This person should have excellent communication skills and be computer literate. Experience of SAP and CRM would be advantageous. The ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external customers is a must and the ability to deal with queries swiftly and accurately is also essential. The person should be comfortable with a large workload, have the capability to prioritise accordingly and be able to work on their own initiative. In addition, the person should possess a high level of accuracy with regards to data input. They should be flexible to changing working methods and procedures and be able to respond quickly and efficiently to change.
