British Airways Avionic Engineering is home to BA’s world class engineering team, and we would like to welcome applications for our latest Planner Buyer vacancy within our BAAE Materials Operational Support Team.
The role of Planner Buyer will be to provide material support to the BAAE business areas covering all CAA/EASA Part 145 and CAA Part 21 activities. Responsible for the planning, ordering and supply of approved material to meet customer requirements, managing the strategic supplier base and coordinating material provisioning for the introduction of new products.
Establish excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and be able to demonstrate the personal behaviors and professional qualifications as per the job description.

You will have:
- MCIPS qualification would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade C or above, including English and Maths, HNC/HND or Degree level is desirable.
- 2 years’ experience of working within a materials supply environment, at an MRO or similar environment desirable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
