Job description
We’re looking for a Planner to join our team based in Witham.
As a Planner, you will be reporting to the Senior Planner and will work closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams in managing the project programmes. As your role within the business progresses, you will experience the full project lifecycle from working on tender management, pre-construction and delivering projects through to completion. You will be exposed to exciting projects within various sectors such as aviation, education and healthcare, given progression opportunities, will be supported and encouraged in obtaining further qualifications and even more.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall planning process to all levels of the business.
- Provide planning support for the preconstruction team
- Control, Monitor & Analyse project programmes with the project teams.
- Attend project sites and offer planning support for the delivery team.
- Assist project teams with supply chain programme management.
- Creating site logistics and phasing plans for project delivery.
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably construction related)
- Basic understanding of traditional construction methods
- Experience of working within the construction industry
- Competent in the use of programming software (Powerproject)
