Job description
We are looking for a talented radiographer with excellent radiography experience in Plainfilm/X-ray to contribute to our Community Diagnostics Centre based in the heart of the Oxford Business Park. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new initiative supporting the local NHS trust whilst also being involved in an organisation with cutting edge technology, overall improving patient diagnostic journeys.
About the Role
You will work with state-of-the-art equipment, for a private organisation such as Perspectum with exposure to working with the local NHS trust on a rotational basis. With exposure to both Private and Public sector this unique opportunity will help you fuel your development in Radiography knowledge and map your career path working across clinical and research fields.
Day to day you will perform examinations across all Plainfilm/X-Ray upon a range of patient types both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will independently assess each patient and adapt radiographic techniques according to the needs of the patient and vet within guidelines and assess referrals as required. You will demonstrate dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of specialist equipment for procedures to be undertaken within the unit whilst adhering to Local and Trust policies e.g. intravenous drug administration, taking blood samples.

You will be highly accurate with excellent attention to detail with excellent communication skills both written and verbally in English language.

To enable this to happen you may be required to cover shift patterns including 7:30am-7:30pm across 7 days a week (37.5 hours a week)
