What are we looking for?

We wish to recruit students to work in the following disciplines at our Basildon head office and plant, for 12 months, starting in July - August 2023:

1. New Holland Agriculture Product Demonstration Support and PLM Marketing

The sales and marketing teams are based in Basildon; however, we frequently visit our dealers and customers throughout the UK and Ireland. This is the opportunity to become part of our team and experience what it is like working for a global market leader in agricultural machinery. The positions will be very varied with tasks including the demonstration and installation of combine harvesters and tractors and the use of guidance systems to support field operations. In addition, some time will be spent supporting and conducting training, which may include overseas travel. Active participation in the planning and preparation of shows will also be required. Back office support of both aftersales and sales activities is a must.

Alternatively, in the network development team, you will have the opportunity to participate in many areas of the New Holland business operations. The skills and experience gained in areas such as developing direct marketing sales campaigns, sales lead management, product presentations, show organization, and managing events will provide an excellent foundation for a career in the agricultural business or marketing.

Basic Function:

• Support Product Specialists with seasonal product demonstrations across the UK and ROI
• Help with input for technical literature of products and comparison data sheets
• Assist with internal/external training events
• Prepare machinery for the Basildon Customer Showroom, national shows and events
• Ensure regular contact with the Precision Farming organization for getting latest product news and latest events plans
• Support the planning and organisation of PLM stand at national shows, events and training

2. New Holland Agriculture Marketing and Brand Communications Support

The New Holland Demo Team, a branch of the New Holland Agriculture Brand Communications department, is responsible for supporting marketing and training activities and initiatives within the EMEA region.

We are a small team of five skilled operators and demonstrators who specialize in supporting markets with a fleet of exhibition vehicles, in addition to supporting the New Holland Agriculture brand in the production of audio visual and photographic material. The support we offer to the markets relies on our ability to be flexible and to achieve this flexibility, extra support is required to help us through the busy periods. In this role, you will find yourself working alongside and assisting our existing Demo Team members in their activities, in various locations across Europe, working with the newest and most modern products in the market place. Participation in the successful delivery of product launches, press events and customer ride and drive events are an integral part of the role, and a high level of professionalism is expected.

Reporting directly to your manager, you will also be delegated various administration tasks in order to give a rounded experience within the department. This is primarily a hands on role which requires a can-do attitude, and a high degree of travel and autonomy.

The skills and knowledge that you’ll learn in your internship will enable you to gain invaluable industry experience and product knowledge. This is an exciting and rewarding role as you will be a key player in the New Holland Demo Team activities, and the results of your efforts will be visible in much of our marketing literature. Basic Function:

• Support in planning and organisation of New Holland stand at national shows and events- keeping an overview of what needs to be done throughout the process - arranging marketing material, staffing and machinery requirements
• Support in planning and organising of dealer training- contact for booking, timetables, catering and a chance to participate in on the training to broadening your knowledge
• Keep track of current marketing campaigns and strategies
• Share your ideas for major publications and events
• Financial administration including invoicing, credit notes, PRs and updating budget sheets
• Control the admin of brochure restock, invoicing and replacement stock
• Help to create social media posts, competitions and campaigns

3. Social Media Support

Basic Function:

Reporting to Marketing Manager, within UK&ROI Commercial Operations, the Social Media Support Intern will be responsible for supporting all social media pages for New Holland Agriculture UK&ROI and assisting with training events between departments. Beside that the Intern will also be responsible for writing information for New Holland products as well as giving support to the marketing team where needed.

Job requirements and qualifications:

• Monitor social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

• Update social analytics and stats

• Interact with dealers through media platforms

• Manage the Dealer Portal

• Support with the writing of technical literature of products

• Support with Central on translations for campaigns

• Support marketing with any finance, promotional campaigns

• Assist in the preparation for shows and events

• Support in creating artwork for social media and advertisements

• Support in planning and organising internal and external events

• To support the marketing team with day-to-day tasks

• Raise dealer orders and invoice payments for dealers
