Previous experience within a PIP clinical assessment environment is essential and proven track record in the successful management of staff.
The post holder leads and manages PIP delivery teams. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality assessment service for claimants of PIP as well as ensuring that high quality reports are returned to DWP in line with the contractual service level requirements.
The successful candidate ensures that an excellent standard of customer service is provided at all times during the claimants PIP journey.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring there is an effective training programme for PIP staff in line with contractual requirements.
- HCPC/NMC registered (RGN, RMN, RLD, OT, Physiotherapist, Paramedic)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent within a relevant field.
- Relevant post graduate training.
- 5 years’ relevant post registration experience within an NHS or similar Healthcare environment working with clients with complex health conditions.
- Appropriate knowledge of the clinical aspects of a wide range of health conditions and disabilities.
- Advanced presentation, training and IT skills.
- Advanced organisational and time management skills including ability to plan and prioritise own and team workload.
